Thermal Controlled Products Warranty
Each Patented Thermal Controlled Product is covered by RICA’s exclusive
3-year conditional warranty. RICA will warrant all units to be free of
material and workmanship defects for a period of 1-year. First year
warranty is 100% repair or replacement of any unit that fails. RICA will
prorate the remaining warranty for each Thermal Controlled Product based
on the number of months since the purchase date allowing for the unit to
be repaired or replaced after RICA’s evaluation of the unit. RICA will
not cover damaged Thermal Controlled Products due to abuse, physical
damage or from carrying the units by the cord. Contact RICA Surgical

SALES POLICY & TERMS
ALL SALES ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Products:
All RICA Surgical Products, Inc. products are carefully inspected and
manufactured with the highest quality control.
All products must be stored, handled and used according to generally
accepted industry methods. We warrant the products to comply with our
specifications. EXCEPT FOR THE FOREGOING, THERE IS NO WARRANTY,
REPRESENTATION, OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED CONCERNING
THE PRODUCTS AND NONE SHALL BE IMPLIED BY LAW.
Pricing:
All prices are subject to change without notice. Although we
endeavor to advise the customer of fluctuations in prices, the prices in
effect at the time an order is shipped will apply. The suggested
veterinary price is the recommended price for each product when the
products are sold to licensed veterinarians.
Orders:
Orders can be placed by contacting our Customer Service Center toll
free at 1-800-889-3218 (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CST). You may also fax
your orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week to RICA Surgical Products,
Inc. at 1-847-671-5690.
All orders accepted by RICA Surgical Products, Inc. may be subject to
delays, failure to deliver or cancellation occasioned by any cause or
causes beyond the control of RICA Surgical Products, Inc. including, but
not limited to, strikes, fires, damage to or destruction of plants,
laboratories or production facilities, war, riots, embargoes, labor,
containers packaging or transportation facilities, or governmental, or
regulatory action.
All orders are subject to our ability to supply; to payment of
applicable local, state or federal taxes by the customer; and to RICA
Surgical Products, Inc. acceptance.
Terms:
Net 30 days from date of invoice. An interest charge of 1˝% per
month or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is lower, may be
assessed on past due invoices.
All credit memoranda and payments received without specific instructions
will be credited to your account, but will not be applied to specific
invoices until your instructions are received (unless the payment
balances your account).
Payments:
RICA Surgical Products, Inc. accepts Mastercard and VISA credit card
payments. Please provide the credit card information and authorization
to our Customer Service Center personnel at 1-800-889-3218 when placing
your order.

Transportation:
Orders are shipped the best way with transportation charges added to the
invoiced amount. The transportation charges are the actual cost from the
freight carrier for the shipment. If you would like to specify a
carrier, please contact our Order Processing Center, otherwise RICA will
select the most cost-effective carrier to deliver your order.
Freight collect shipments become the property of the customer when
delivered to the carrier; prepaid shipments become the property of the
customer when delivered to the customer.
Special Handling
When special or expedited handling is requested, the cost of the special
services will be added to the invoice.
Shortage, Damage or Loss in Shipment:
RICA Surgical Products, Inc. will credit you for the invoice price of
any of our products which are lost or damaged in transit from us to you,
if all visible damage and all apparent shortages are noted on the
carrier’s delivery documents and if you notify us within 10 days after
receipt of the shipment and cooperate with us in connection with our
claim against the carrier.
RICA Surgical Products, Inc. will also credit you for the invoice price
of any shipments which are lost in transit from us to you, provided that
(a) you notify us in writing of the loss within 30 days after receipt of
our invoice or statement covering the shipment lost and (b) we are
unable to provide you with proof of delivery. Credits or return requests
from shortage, damage, loss or misshipment must be approved by RICA
Surgical Products, Inc.
Except as otherwise provided in the two paragraphs above, RICA Surgical
Products, Inc. will not be responsible for any damages to or losses of
product.
Return Goods Policy:
RICA Surgical Products, Inc. strives to provide the highest quality
surgical products. Our primary objective is simple…we want to
consistently exceed your expectations. To accomplish this, RICA will
make it easy and convenient to purchase products. RICA will only ship
products that meet our high standards of quality and will back our
commitment to you and your veterinary customers long after the sale is
made. RICA Surgical Products, Inc. return goods policy is as follows:
RICA Surgical Products, Inc. will accept returns of purchased products
up to 30 days after purchase, under the following conditions:
1) All returns must be approved in advance by RICA Surgical Products,
Inc. Contact the Schiller Park office at 1-800-889-3218.
2) The product(s) being returned must have been originally purchased
from RICA Surgical Products, Inc. by the customer who is returning it.
3) Returns made to RICA Surgical Products, Inc. without prior approval
will become the property of RICA Surgical Products, Inc. and we reserve
the right to dispose of it with no credit issued.
4) Product provided at “no charge” or “free goods” or “samples,” etc.
are non-returnable for replacement.
5) Only unopened selling units in original condition may be returned for
replacement.
6) RICA Surgical Products will replace the returned products with like
replacement product, unless a different product is requested. If no
replacement product is requested, RICA will issue credit for the
original purchase price less a 20% restocking fee. Discontinued products
may not be returned for replacement with another product or for credit.
7) All freight charges are the responsibility of the customer.
